REMIX: Buy You a Drank w/Trey Songz

I'm really feeling this mash-up with T-Pain and the Prince of Virginia Trey Songz.  I could have done with a replacement for Joc but all in all I love it.

T-Pain is the New (and safer) version of R. Kelly

While R. Kelly is getting older and possibly may (or may not) be facing jail time, a younger and non-pedophilic singer is quickly taking his place.  T-Pain came out strong with “I’m Sprung” and then beat the one-hit wonder trend with “I’m in Luv (With a Stripper).”  I liked him since he morphed into a singer, but since finding out that he is a singer/rapper, producer and songwriter, my respect for him hit a new level.  How many artists do you know with that large scale of genius?  Between then and “Buy U A Drank,” T-Pain has been very busy.  Like his older equivalent, he broke out from a mildly successful group (Nappy Headz) and since has been penning hits for a wide variety of big-time artists such as Usher, Brittany Spears, Joe, Chris Brown and even Charlie Wilson.  You’ll recall Kellz put in much work for high-profile songsters such as Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson and most notably, Aaliyah.  When R. Kelly first came out from under Public Announcement he created a sound and vibe all his own.  Who else could compare females to jeeps or create and describe terms like “down low”, or openly talk about bumping and grinding??  T-Pain also creates his own lane speaking about his love for strippers and buying chicks drinks in a club.  And he does it successfully.  No doubt that T-Pain has been on the scene for a short time, but it is already evident that he will have longevity in the game if he continues on the path that he began.
